Ledogar wine

The family-owned domain Ledogar has been producing wine over three generations in the Languedoc village of Ferralsles Corbieres, close to the unique terroir of Boutenac. Their 18 hectares of vines include lots of different grape varieties with many plots of old vines (60 to 120 years old!).When Xavier took over the domain in 1998, he decided to convert to organic viticulture with some plots biodynamic. This wine is fermented spontaneously. Other Information:Terroir: Boutenac is a special terroir with poor soils on a limestone base. Known locally as Corbières' “golden triangle”. Vinification: Grapes are hand-harvested with a selection of the best vines. Grapes are destemmed and fermentation starts naturally in stainless steel vats.

The vineyards in the Boutenac terroir near Carcassonne, are spread around the village of Ferrals-les-Corbières.
